Surrey, B.C. - August 15, 2024 - The Province of British Columbia has awarded all three contracts for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project, marking a significant milestone for this vital transportation project. The $2 billion project will extend the Expo Line by 16 kilometers along Fraser Highway, providing much-needed high-quality and low-cost transportation options for communities south of the Fraser River.
The contracts have been awarded to the following companies:
- Civil Works Contract: Aecon-Flatiron-Dragados-Ellis Joint Venture

Construction is expected to begin in the coming months, with completion scheduled for 2028. Once complete, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain will provide fast, reliable, and affordable transportation for residents and commuters in the region.
